what a special day!
after mad partying in sac, the BRL boys had to be up bright-and-early the next morning to play in the quad of San Jose State University. packing up hangovers and gear, we drove to SJ and straight up onto the campus. rock.
day 4

evan gets some help dragging the bass amp down some gnarly stairs... he should have just ridden it down like a sled. so much easier.
the dude walking by during the set stayed as far away from the stage as possible... probably because the stench of alcohol and sweat was too much to bear.
huge crowd! too bad i misssed the picture of the group of asian tourists (i think?) with their cameras out, recording away.
aaron gets to practice his rockstar skills.... reporter: "so what do you hope to accomplish as a musician?" aaron: "i just want the girls to love me."
oh noah. that's not where that goes. it's thinking like that that'll get you into trouble.

so after SJ, we drove out to chico to meet up with the other bands and play a totally sick show. basically, chico rocks.

bands: BRL, TVA, Stiletto
TVA starts off the show. ooh motion blur. scandalous.
dude, chris, i think he likes you... hope you got his number!
yeah yeah, more blur. dave has two faces.
... brady from stiletto has such dainty hands.
stiletto totally brings the mosh. check.
i do believe that's nolan jumping on stage... in order for him to get into the bar, he had to be an "integral part of the band"... the missing 4th member of BRL!
the chico kids want to touch [aaron] like they want it.
dude. what's with this shizzle? evan, if you were that hungry, we coulda stopped at JIBs.
messing with the robot voices so they don't have to talk to the crowd. why are you afraid of your fans? they won't bite. they're good conversationalists. and i'm sure they're down to cuddle.
crowd participation is a must.
